This brew is designed to help your body and mind in dealing with stress. We use a unique blend of adaptogenic herbs and superfood powders that work with your body’s stress response system; helping it to cope with the many kind of stress that it may encounter. This could mean environmental stressors such as pollution, living in an overcrowded city, or even noisy neighbours. It could also mean chemical stressors from chemicals in tap water, the air we breath, cosmetics, junk food, and even the clothes we wear. It is estimated that we are exposed to as many as 700,000 toxic chemicals every day. That’s not to mention our own personal life stressors such as anxiety and depression, high expectations of ourselves, relationship problems, any kind of conflict, or dealing with change.

Holy basil is the queen of herbs. She helps your body and mind adapt to stress; acts as a natural antidepressant; anti anxiety, and anti inflammatory. She is also shown to help you sleep better, improves memory, and makes you feel more social. Truly a wonderful herb!
Ginseng is full of powerful antioxidants shown to reduce inflammation in the body. It contains compounds which help to protect the brain from damaging free radicals. When taken in the right dose, it can improve mental function, and produces a feeling of calm. An all round stress buster.
Blueberries are such a powerful food, packed full of antioxidants that protect the body from those pesky free radicals, and they taste great too. They also help the muscles to recover after excerise, and can slow down the ageing process. Hooray for blueberries!
Ginger is another brilliant anti inflammatory and is shown to reduce muscle pain and soreness. It is also shown to reduce blood sugars, and LDL (bad cholesterol) levels. When brewed it smells absolutely divine. A common scent used in aromatherapy, ginger is said to encourage the expression of gratitude, as well as being a natural aphrodisiac. So, inhale deeply as you drink this brew.
Coconut is underrated as a superfood. It’s benefits are myriad. It’s amazingly good for your heart health as it lowers cholesterol and improves blood pressure. It provides your body with vital electrolytes and thus helps to combat fatigue. It’s a great source of MCTs (medium chain triglycerides); fatty acids which enhance physical performance as well as helping you to feel full and prevent overeating. The list goes on and on.
To brew simply add 3 teaspoons of the mix to your favourite mug, add boiled water, and mix with a spoon until combined. However, this is not the only way to use the mellow brew. You could also add to smoothies, sprinkle over porridge, use in baking, or make an iced brew by allowing your brew to cool and adding a few ice cubes.
The mellow brew can also be used in ceremony. You can brew a mug and incorporate it into your usual ceremony, perhaps a morning ritual with sage and your favourite crystal, or it could be used for grounding at the end of a ceremony, accompanied by a piece of fruit.
